Deerhound stunt dogs

Interesting pic from the movie the other Boleyn girl. Set in the period of Henry VIII of England the story revolves around the sister of the more famous wife of the afore mentioned King.

Again, the movies use of deerhounds is a form of period scene setting, but evidence we have found for the period, indicates that the Scottish deerhound would appear somewhat alien in the 14th Century English countryside of the day.

Still, it’s good to have true natural beauty appear amongst a crowd of human kind in fancy dress.

Stunt Dogs were used to provide placement and supply the hounds for the silver screen, so if you feel your hound acting ability measures up, contact them through the link.

Oh . . . and we’ll have the movie excerpt available for viewing soon.
